This is an Intermediate level workshop. Glass cutting experience is required.

During this 3-day intermediate course students will learn the basics of creating a leaded stained glass panel.

Saturday May 10: Introduction, Pattern Making, Cutting
Saturday May 17: Assembling, Solder, Putty
Sunday May 18: Clean and Buff (this class may be shorter than the first two)

Each workshop is limited to four students so everyone gets plenty of personalized instruction and assistance. At the end of the class you will have the knowledge and confidence to begin building your own leaded panels independently.

-Please wear comfortable closed toe shoes to class.
-Safety glasses and cut-resistant gloves will be provided, but please bring your own if you have some.

About the Instructor: Susan McCracken is a very accomplished stained glass artist in Atlanta, GA. She first learned stained glass working in a production studio in the 1980’s. Her company Architectural Artworks specialized in large-scale designs for hotels and restaurants, as well as larger residential projects. She has decades of experience that she is eager to pass on to the next generation of glass artists.

Safety/Liability: Minimum age requirement is 18 years old. Sharp glass, lead and chemicals will be used and proper handling techniques will be discussed upon arrival. By registering and paying for this class, you do hereby release ATL Glassworks LLC and instructor Susan McCracken from any liability for bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to any personal property while on the premises and/or while participating in any activity hosted by ATL Glassworks LLC and instructor Susan McCracken.

Cancellation/Refund Policy: ATL Glassworks LLC reserves the right to cancel any class due to low enrollment or unforeseen circumstances. If a class is cancelled, your registration may be transferred to the next available class. If you are unable to attend the next available class, you will be issued a refund.
